Hey Martin

I havent converted any of these shots but I thought you might enjoy some of them. All shot with my new 5D Mark II and the 25-105mm L IS Kit lens.

Very good Rob, and they say its AF is old fashioned, seems to work fine to me emoticon . Funny enough this year I decided to offer mono images from bike races and sold more than I thought, certain images have more impact even with the colorful bikes and kit missing

I work for a photographer in my spare time covering mainly horse events. We print onsite and also sell from the web, they buy three standard shot types but for a change we offered b+w,went down like a lead balloon emoticon they didnt like change.

Mark as a percentage of sales the BW section on cycling is small about 10% of total yearly sales, not big but does offer something different which 10% like.

HA! Thats what you think, I kid. Its a running joke in my cycling crowd that anytime a top notch rider gets new equipment the "lesser" riders buy it too. Following the better rider like sheep. So you see, some of those riders are in fact sheep. LOL

The camera is great. I am to understand that it the majic really shows in the printing. I have yet to print anything. The lens is great. The IS is awesome, works great in low light situations.

There is a thread on POTN with page after page of whining about some black spot stuff but I have yet to see any in my pictures. I havent done much shooting with it yet either, so who knows....

Thanks Martin, everything seems to work as advertised. I have never tried to sell any of these shot becasue these are all my friends and sports photography is not really my thing. Although the more I do it the better understanding I got of HOW to do it.
