Updated images
Due to been asked many many times I have now updated my DM site. The images are larger for viewing, You will also hopefully notice the images have a better, more controlled contrast and luminosity, this is due to up dating my editing technique, contrast grading has played a major part in this and also another method of of tonal separation that I will explain more at a later date. I have all the images to tag for the search engine but will get that done in the next few days. Oh and before anyone says there's noise in some of the pics, its not, I have added grain to quite a lot of the images, you either like it or not
Here's a link please take a look and see what you think.

PS
Do try the slide view feature, its been updated by Photium and works really well I think, dont forget to press F11 on your keyboard for better viewing

Re: Updated images
Himartin, took a look - is this going to be your 'home ' page?
I dont think it's better as a home page but may be good as some sort of launch page
F11 doesnt work on my mac and probably wont on many macs because it's usually assigned to the 'expose´" feature - so it would be better if there were another way to initiate the slide function
BTW I was showing your site to someobne recently on my computer and the one thing that I did think that your site definitelty needed was a slide show of just a few selected best images because there are so amny shots on your site that if you're trying to just show someone the ability you have ina short period of time there are just too mmany to choose from whereas a slide show of your best ( or just a curent selection of your favoutrites) would be ideal IMO

Re: Updated images
Went through the page last night Martin. Used the slide show (Simon, the f11 key just goes to full page view, does not start the slide show) Everything worked great. I have been one of those who wanted to see the images larger, and so am very happy. Also a nice veriety of styles Martin. Well done Martin.
Regards
Dave

Thanks for looking Simon
I think when the images are all tagged then it will be easy to find any image, so if for example you wanted to find Fountains abbey, just type in Abbey in the search box and all the abbey shots will be found, could be a problem if you typed SHEEP as all the images would be found . I think visually searching should not pose such a prob as there are 72 images per page and the thumbs are quite big to view, sites a rarely perfect so I am going down the search engine side for ease of use
