Jimmy Forsyth


A dedication to one simple subject, Jimmy Forsyth:- photographer of Newcastle, was born on August 15, 1913. He died on July 11, 2009, aged 95.

It bothers me that those pictures have more value than most of mine will ever have despite the humble are and equipment used. A truly worthwhile document of an age and area lost forever.

Brings back memories...in those days you could go and take photos of people and kids and there was no problem...today I feel like i am stealing the street scenes I get...
