The little Red dot means SOLD

Well my first b&w photo exhibition went well on Thursday night. I had a good turnout of friends, relatives, associates etc. and I sold two prints (one bought by a friend and one purchased by one of my clients). My prints will remain in the gallery for another 3 weeks and then I'll decide what to do after that. To be honest, I'm not expecting too much activity since the gallery owner isn't promoting the event locally. We did get a bit of press coverage thanks to the news releases I sent out to the media. The good news is that another gallery owner visited the show and wants me to contact him with more information about myself.

Here a few rough images from the opening.

Well done Steven, you had the confidence in your ability and it is paying off, its a great feeling when someone is willing to buy ones work, by the look of it you have had quite an expense setting up your exhibition but believe me its worth every penny as now you have started off the web things can only get better, keep pushing your work forward, you will get neg and pos views and acceptations and that's all part of it, really pleased for you

congratulations Steven...keep at it...if somebody is asking after you unsolicited then there is commercial mileage in your images...which is excellent!
