Lesson 2 - Conversion methods - Adjustment Layers

Here's lesson 2, covering the first of three conversion methods...

Adjustment Layers, focusing on the Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer plus Photofilter, Curves and Levels Adjustment Layers.

The next two lessons will cover The Channel Mixer method and the LAB Mode method using the Lightness Channel

Lesson 2 here http://www.steve-perks.com/gfx/forumposts/lesson2/lesson2.html

I'm looking into this as we speak.
I will be compiling an interfaced DVD but am trying to find a way of saving them from the web to hard drive as well as streaming.

I went for the smallest file size and fastest streaming (Flash .swf)to save us all some bandwidth (and me some server space).
The other options have a stream or download option but that the expense of massive increases in file size.

To download the flash tutorials to your hard drive for later use, download and install the free version of 'Flash Extract Pilot' from this link: http://www.infocellar.com/downloads/files/Flash-Extract-Pilot-Install.exe

View the streaming tutorial in full and before closing your browser window (in case your browser or security applications are set to clear your internet cache automatically) run the above application which will find all your cached flash movies and allow it to save to you desired location.
Let me know if it works...seems OK here!

Best wishes for both your wife and you Mr. Bachs! emoticon

By the way, your instruction of downloading the flash tutorials worked for me. Though I have to use IE to play the tutorials first before the extractor program could pick up the swf files. Initially used Firefox it didn't pick up. Cheers Johnny

Bachs,

Many thanks for the tutorials there very helpful, no matter how many times you read it it's always better and easier (for me anyway) if you have someone showing you.

Keep up the great work.

Mike
