Re: New larnig section "VIDEO TUTORIALS"
That would be great, as sometimes I am just to lazy to read . And of course, it's always easier to follow if one can see every single step. Thanks.

Re: New larnig section "VIDEO TUTORIALS"
OK, here's a rough and ready one to start with and was my first attempt so it can only get better!
I was compiling a series of tutorials on monochrome post processing and this was the first one covering merging two raw files, one optimised for shadows and one for highlights, then merging them in photoshop using a layer mask.
Let me know what you think...

Re: New larnig section "VIDEO TUTORIALS"
Great job steve, so much easier to learn from, what do i think, this in time will prob be the most viewed thread on the forum , please post some more
Martin
ps
i am going to move the forum to the learning area section its no good down here
Martin
The other thing i think it would be better to put each video with title on seperate threads here so there easier to find when more are added ???

Re: New learning section "VIDEO TUTORIALS"
It's worth pointing out that our guest Glenn Mitchell is an old master at video tutorials and I've just spotted one on his site covering the subject I just posted which shows a much better way of achieving the result.
Just look on my version as the working mans' version
Glenns' video tutorials here http://www.thelightsright.com/tutorials-video.htm
and don't forget the great photoshop videos at photoshop TV

Re: New learning section "VIDEO TUTORIALS"
Hi Steve, i'm very impressed here. Good to some diffrent ways to learn from. I am at the moment sorting out a copy of Adobe Acrobat 7 pro so he can create top notch PDF files, at the moment we're using macromedia flash paper 2 which works a treat but i think it limits what you can do using microsoft word??

Karl, I have Adobe Acrobat 6 Pro which is still very versatile.
Didn't even realise version 7 was out!

Re: New learning section "VIDEO TUTORIALS"
The tutorials are supposed to stream by default but some people have reported it downloaded instead of streaming.
I'm investigating wether this is down to endusers' browser settings.
It would be nice if I could offer a choice of download or streaming.
Leave it with me!
