Sensor dirty??

Have I got muck on my sensor - if so, what's the best way of cleaning it? Or am I better to try to correct in PS?

Thanks

Yes thats dirt, you can clean the senser, as you do your own editing I think you might as well remove the marks then as its not that bad,

Re: Sensor dirty??

A couple blasts of air from a good hand pump might do the trick. I use the "rocket" blower often and it takes care of most dust and such. Don't use compressed air though.

I get tired of cloning these things out, or I miss one and have to go back. Try an air blower... emoticon

An airblower just re-distributes the dust.

You need to pick it up with a proprietry swab kit...just Google for a kit.

A cheaper option is to use a Giotto Rocket Blower and blow it into the bristles of a clean artists brush (with the residue removed)

This 'charges' the bristles with a harmless amount of static and lifts the offending goobers from the sensor.
