I kind of agree. I wish the plant wasn't there at all because if you crop the bottom, you lose that long shadow gradient created by the archway on the left. Maybe just clone the doorway and plant out? That might create too much empty space for some people's taste, but I like the "less is more" type of picture.

Yes John I agree. I looked at the crop as suggested and the image lost perspective in my eyes due to the loss of the archway.

Unfortunately here in the Canary islands the banana trees are everywhere. They just get in the way.
