Here's another image taken at the same Winter Carny in 2004. Believe it or not, the colour version of this won best photo in our town's Winter Carnival Newspaper contest, my ONLY claim to fame this far in my short photographic endeavors.

It fits for me...there is always the compositional argument of whether the person should be walking into the frame or out of it...for me this works
