Saltaire

I went to take more shots of Saltaire with Martin.

For the first shot i used the nifty fifty wide open and have now got a buzz for this type of photography....

The 2nd i had the great chance to use a Canon Tse 24mm shift lens....Martin showed me how to use this lens in great detail, besides the use of open aperture as in the first image, somoething i would not really think of, though focusing is critical.

I also learnt a better way of useing the auto focus and live view, thnx Martin, now i know why the workshops really do help...

The first is, to me, a mess. No way to say it politely. I see the point and the objective but the distracting background destroys it to me.

#2 however is corker. Wet sets! Man you have some superb materials to work with but you have made the best of them here.

Like 'em both, Karl, especially the second. This is one lens I've had my eye on for quite some time. I'm thinking of selling my 100-400mm (since I dont use it much) and picking up this one.
