British Landscape Photographs

I am setting up a new web-site, hopefully cleaner, better styled and larger images. Focused solely on the British Landscape.

As yet I haven't got too much on it and what is up is mostly colour (sorry for the rude word emoticon).

Any comments or crit' welcome to help me get it right at this stage.

Blimey Bill - they're a bit good!

Only crit on site - the slideshow seesma little low i.e. a long way down from the title at top of page
When the is no image e.g Norfolk mono (is there supposed to be an image?) the link gets lowered i.e. it doesnt look symetrical with the one next to it

hope useful

Both in Firefox and safari on a Mac

Thanks Simon,

You are quite right i shall try to move the slideshow up a bit if the Clikpic shell allows it. As for the no image un-symmetry I think that's easiest dealt with by removing galleries with no content. I'll attend to that in due course too. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Mark, I'm looking forward to getting it fully updated but work and stuff keeps getting in the way.

Hi Bill,

Nice looking site.

The only thing that annoyed me a little was some of the image sizes (particularly the 'portrait' format shots) meant I had to scroll to see them.

Regards

Hugh

I know, but it was a deliberate choice to make them as large as possible but it will annoy some viewers while others will like being able to see them larger.

I have now found a way to make portrait images smaller in the slideshow without cropping so this has been sorted as well.

Thanks for the comment Hugh.
