outdoors


While most of the UK freezes it is quite warm up in Shetland so been for some walks

this one had a focus when taken that was lost in translation

Saw this image and tried with the colour camera but could not convert to my vision so used the IR camera

Using a cross between Martins CG and usual plug-ins

really like te second one - that's one for the portfolio, but the first one doesnt quite do it, and whats that line across the LHS?

Its a power line but when I saw the image was not coming out with the figure as the point of focus I stopped the hard work!

To my eye the problem with the first is that there appears t be a sort of path which leads the eye in but the subject is off to the right of that which diverts the attention. Move the figure left?

The second one looks to have "THat sky"

I like it Chris. To me the figure placement is a quintessential example of the Rule of Thirds.
