Is this the new way forward in photography
Below is a link to 3 video clips taken by the new Canon 5dmk2, as i understand it you can capture still images from the video, is this going to start the end to still photography as we know it, image iso at 12500

It may for many - but I for one do not want to trawl through videos looking for best frames. Also stills captures from Vid cannot be at tehe same resolution as a single shot as I understand it
But for me that's not the point, I like going out with the intent if taking single frames. making single frames is what I enjoy about photography, that process gives me an experience that means something to me, it puts me ina space, grabbing stills froma vid will never do that. (which is also why I never use motordrive)
Im not against video, or even taking a still from it if thats what someone wants but 'replace' single image photography? - never!

There have been many scare stories in photography and I am sure that this is just the latest one. Fina art B&W has survived the digital age up to now and I am sure it will continue.
