My work flow on video

At last, tested, tested again, proofed, packaged, works on PC and Mac.

My first video tutorials based on my own method of editing. The disc contains 5 videos, from creating a master colour file, then conversion to mono, sharpening tutorial, USM tutorial and image fix tutorial.

It last 45 mins, has lots of pages containing helpful tips and advice, screen calibration page, links to my favorite plugins. The video is set up with text boxes that explain in detail whats happening and why. You can freeze any video frame to give time to read and take notes. It comes with the original Raw file in two formats .CR2 and DNG of the image thats been used for editing and also a 7x5 comparison print.

Update
For European and outside Europe only. I can now offer a download service, once payment has been verified the download link will be sent.

If you want to buy, go to this link

I'll about to order my copy but one point: it says 'using plug ins' but doesnrt say what tey are: so people will wonder whether it can only be doen using whatever those plugins are, whether they also need to buy plugins and that might put people off....?

just thought I'd mention it emoticon

Good point Simon, but like every thing in photograpthy you need the tools to work with, I also think that most here will have one or of the 3

imagingfactory pro
Crispimage pro
Photokit

not meemoticon

I think it would be good to mention it on the sales page because buyers could imagine that it might be any of the thousands of photoshop plugins available, some quite expensive

As photoshop is the de facto standard on it's own it would also be really great if you showed how to do it without the plugins (if that's [possible)

It does mention about plugins, [but not clearly I suppose] The whole point of the tutorial is to simplify the edit process, to add different ways like PS own interface would contradict what I am doing, the plugins are what I use to produce my work. If you see something thats good, the question is, how is it done, the tutorials give that answer.

If you have not got any off the plugns I would suggest you buy the video emoticon and see what they can do. Photoshop is amazing, but not best at everything.

Some Plugins are also amazing powered by PS, the 3 mentioned are specifically designed for photographers, imagingfactory HAD to be made by a photographer who has the understanding of what we want for BW conversion, and I would suggest he also worked in a wet darkroom to gain that understanding.

Anyway good points Simon and worth mentioning

Martin

Don't worry Martin I ordered my copy already!

I only mention those points because whilst those on this board will already know and understand about these plugins, hopefully you will attract a wider audience, and I am concerned that the way you present the video on the sales page doesnt cover the 'system requirements' clearly enough - you dont want any complaints after people have bought the video that they didnt realise they would also have to buy a plugin!
