imagingfactory pro
Crispimage pro
Photokit
Martin
Just checked these out and all do a free trial which is good, except that Crispimage Pro is windows only, no version for the mac.
I think that should be mentioned as well, perhaps with an alternative option that can be used. Trying to follow a tutorial when certain options aren't available can be frustrating.

Re: My work flow on video
Hi Martin ... for your second run of DVDs maybe include a DNG version of the RAW file ... for those of you without CS3 like me, that is the direction I am going to take...

Mark, I suggest Crispimage Pro but thats not to say other sharpening can't be used, the principle would be exactly the same for either on the CD

Your quite correct in what you say Chris, and I will include a DNG version in future.
In the mean time let me know if you do not have CS3, I will send you a DNG version of it. ALternatively you can go here
http://www.adobe.com/products/dng/
And download the Adobe DNG converter free.
Thanks Chris for pointing that out

Re: My work flow on video
I want to make something perfectly clear about the Contrast garading video.
The plugins are suggestions, you do not have to buy them to follow the tutorial, Contrast Grading is a form of increasing and reducing contrast. I have found imagingfactory very good at this and use it in my own workflow, and as mentioned previously about sharpening. Crispimage is another plugin I use. Without buying these DOES NOT make the tutorials redundant. its the principle behind it, and application of the workflow that is important. You can use curves for increasing contrast, PS smartsharpen, and again curves or levels for other functions in the tutorial.
The video is how I edit my images, the plugins are secondary and a bonus if you have them or purchase them, but the workflow with or without them is the same.

Re: My work flow on video
Martin
received my 45 minute video and the wife wants to know why I've been wathching it four 4 hours.
She just does not understand these things!!!
It's given me renewed hope that hundreds of my flat lifless images may be of use afterall.
maybe we could have a page on here for our efforts on your supplied image.
To the point, I expected nothing less from you and think this a a great tutorial.
Thanks, again and again and ag........
