i hate myself!! I hate Fartin' Martin
Yes mine arrived today ... my head hurts...
thought I would be clever and do a conversion without seeing the tutorials ... ha! could not get a realistic sky at all!!
Well I have got to the end of the second video and I have a realistic sky with flying dust bunnies!

Okay Martin .... get on to Black and White Photography Magazine and tell them the DVD exists...hopefully will get into the January issue!

This method of yours is quite iterative ... it is going to be interesting getting it locked in so I can pre vis

Yes Chris, a loop, like building a wall with bricks, needs to be done a layer at a time, the pre vis will come better building brick by brick. You can stand back to see where its going a layer at a time. Steady away is better then Wham Bam I'm done method

I wouldn't dare complain about any of it for that price!

Great value and more than just a bunch of videos.

Good luck with it Martin.
Just be careful you don't damage your 'live' workshops emoticon

Re: My work flow on video

Dont think the workshops will be compromised ... I want to find a way to get to one even more now...

Little trick I use to help spot blown and blocked areas developing...

Image

I run two threshold layers set at about 50% opacity...one at threshold 5 and the other at 250. I turn them on one by one after an edit to see if any pixels are starting to creep into blocking or burning.
When it comes to flatenning I turn them off and use merge visible followed by layer copy...so
ctrl+shift+e then ctrl+j...becoming an unconscious action emoticon
