How long does it take you?
Just wonderd how long it took you Martin to do the image on the DVD from beginning to end ( assuming one did it all in one go without breaks)? and how long it takes everyone else
I know we should expect to get fatser as we go along but what is a reasonable time for editing an image?

Re: How long does it take you?
It would have taken around 1/2 maybe less, it does help if you have some idea of the look you want, if you just edit without any vision, could take you all day and still not be happy, try to visualize the finished image to a degree it helps so much

THAT is the bit I find hard - and probably why it's all so much trial and error for me

Re: How long does it take you?
Stick at it Simon your getting there, the proof is seen on this forum from when you first started to now, BIG improvements showing , the other thing to mention is take control of your camera, don't let it decide the exposure for you, I often use underexposed and overexposed images to give different mood to images. helps to visualize when you see them like this
