Canon 70~200L f2.8

Of all the zoom lens Canon make this has to be the best one, it is heavy, but its fast at all focal settings and the image quality will blow you away, it can compare to fixed focal lens its that good, the bokah is fantastic wide open, Its IS is also great around 4 stops, two settings one for normal the other panning.

I am constantly amazed when I look at pictures from this lens, the detail it captures is stunning, colours and contrast the same, its not a walk about lens, for that the f4 version would be better. the Auto focus is instant , a joy to use, I use this lens in the main for sporting events, providing your camera is weather sealed, when it rains you can still keep shooting, and that often happens to me emoticon,

All in all a combination of amazing IQ for a zoom, built to take all that can be thrown at it and that constant f2.8 AP is a big bonus.

This is a lens that I simply could not do without for sports, fitted to a 1D series cam and you have one of the best tel setups money can buy.

Martin
