Dfine Noise reduction

Noise is not usually a major problem on my 1Ds3
but the occasional images throws some up or of course if I use high iso.

I downloaded a trial version of Dfine 2.0 from Nik and, even though I have only run it one one image so far, I am almost certain I will buy it. I was staggered at how completely it removed noise (just on the default setting) without affecting sharpness of the image at all.

Thanks Chris, I'm a Lightroom user and understand LR3 has much better noise reduction than v.2 so I may look at that too.

Also Neatimage might be worth a look, not tried it myself but watched Drew gardners dvd the other day and he uses it, if its good enough for someone producing high end advertising shots then it must be worth a look.
