Two types of Heroes

The gentleman on the right is a local fire chief. The gentleman on the left flew out of Horham , England on a B17 "Flying Fortress on Tuesday November 21, 1944. Gordan was a navigator and sat in the front of the plane in that little bubble under the Pilots. At 13:40 hrs they were shot down over Germany. Gordon spent the rest of the war as a POW. A very interesting man to talk too. I really enjoyed the time I spent with him that day.
