Honestly, I get a bit crabby at points throughout the first two weeks when you're no supposed to drink and you have to totally cut the starchy carbs, but after that initial hump, and I can go back to a beer here and there and some regular drinking, I'm pretty ok on it. Plus, I started walking and lifting weights again, so the 14 lbs. I took off was pretty easy.

The reason I went on it again is because I had gained back like 10 lbs from my first go round where I lost nearly 30. I didn't want to do the whole yoyo thing so I just did it again and stuck with it. Those first two weeks really make the difference, but the exercise with it is what really gets it done. I'm back to drinking and the occasional hamburger and bun and my eight is staying down and still dropping but more slowly now.

Salads for lunch every day and black beans or limas instead of a starch for dinner really help. I also treat myself to regular ice cream each night I work out. So four nights a week I get a treat. emoticon

Well, today I was eating a grapefruit.. and then proceeded to remove the melted cutting board from the oven, that I accidentally melted, because apparently you can't cook with a cutting board in the oven... who the **** knew?! Jesus, these lapses of reason.. anyway, I ate half the grapefruit, decided to drink some absolut straight up, and chased it with a grapefruit. Quite a good combo, if i do say so myself.

I always said that youth was wasted on the young. What did you do with the cutting board?

Do you think he deemed it a modern sculpture and placed it in a place of honor?

Yes, right next to the dead body he stumbled over, to mark the site and the occasion. He named it "The Third Degree or The Heat is On."

haha. you guys are funny.. I threw it away of course... it was still melted to the metal trey.. so i threw them away, once I was able to dissect them from the oven. Luckily there is still a metal trey... two metal trey's to an oven... really two is kind of unnecessary unless you are baking a lot of stuff.

Speaking of the dead guy, I had to go to a deposition the other week with a bunch of lawyers present. They asked me all sorts of questions.. It was interesting. Especially the part where I admitted to getting high at a party, before I came home and found said dead guy... They showed me some photos and it turns out that the dude probably did get strangled with his neck caught in the fence.. He was wasted... How the **** do you do a drunken stumble into a closing gate, and get your neck caught.. I have no ****ing idea...****ty luck that's for sure.
