The mint julip recipie actualy sounded pretty good. Its just mint sugar and bourbon. I think this summer I will give it a try. A buddy of mine has a bunch of mint growing in his back yard and we usualy make mojitos with it but this could be some thing new.

Oh, boy. Me and Weed had our annual Book Club Christmas Party at a swank watering hole last night. We ate gravlox crostini and other fine foods but man, we had some nice bourbons. We had Michter's Rye, some Jefferson, and then we but the big one. We had Pappy Van Winkle's 20 year old and then some of his 15 year old. That there was some fine sippin', I'm here to say. really good. Pappy's 15 y.o. is 107 proof but was as smooth as silk.
