****ing Volstead, man. Figures that ****sucker would be from Minnesota. We have a certain OCD about us. They call it Minnesota nice. Anyways, fellas, I apologize from the bottom of my heart for that douchebag. Every Jan 20th, me and the drinking buddies throw back a shot in honor of his passing.

Strikes and gutters, man. Been caught up in the winter doldrums, joined a gym, yadda yadda yadda. Haven't had too many interesting thoughts to post, as of late, and I'm just trying to stay active outside, keep the depression at bay. Al is well, hope the same applies to you.

Yeah, dude, all's well here. Just the Winter doldrums got me down. Don't feel real creative or talkative. The boss commented on it the other day. She's been really tired and after working all week. But we'd usually head out someplace anyway with the kid, get some dinner, shoot the ****, and just unwind from the week of school and kids. But it's been one of those years for me where I find myself doing a lot of talking to the kids, "You know better...", "Come on, you need to quiet down..." Those kinds of years, where the kids don't retain rules and require me to stop them when they start to get out of hand, wear you down. Just imagine having to tell your guys each day how they have to put one foot in front of the other all day or how to fill a ****ing pot hole over and over... You start to feel like a recording but it comes at the expense of doing things that are more engaging for me and the kids.

But I digress, long story short is, she goes to sleep early on the weekends and we find ourselves not talking as much and that tended to drive my talks here too. Active mind leads to active posting. I just feel a little blah...

So anyway the result is, I'm talked out by the time I get home and just feel like sitting quietly in my warm living room with the gentle din of sportscenter in the background. I guess I need some su to get me kick started.

BTW, I caught the Seinfeld, "Yadda, yadda, yadda," show the other night, funny how it made the board...
