Drinking and age

Has anyone noticed a decrease in their drinking? I have really slowed down lately. Still take some urine of the godz but not nearly like I used to. Almost no drinking at all. Anybody else? I'm wondering how age affects our drinking.

no question about that, man. I'm 41 and I can only drink half the sauce I drank when I was 30. But I enjoy it, and that's what really matters.

A little less, but I think that's a function of summer over age. I've never been a volume drinker in the summer. Notwithstanding the cheap beer binge on a hot summer day, I just can't consume mass quantities when it's hot.

Nice. Still have the drinking ability and your Dad. Hope that lasts forever for you, dude. That's a treasure.

He'll turn 77 on the 12th. I gave him his present tonight since we're leaving for the outer banks tomorrow. A 17-year old Glengoyne from a distillery we visited about a year ago in the highlands north of Glasgow.

Very nice.

Nope, can't run with the big dogs anymore as far as drinking goes.
