Burndt Fardt is going to be Viking. We're all going to have to listen to another year of "He's a Hall of Famer and not too old to show..." blah, blah, blah. I'm so glad the Ravens didn't make a play for him after McNair.

But Slack, I know you feel like I do about him. He might be great but he's about Brett. And he finds a way to blow big games. He'll get you to the dance but then he leaves with your date. emoticon

Sorry dude.

Tweeds right.

It's getting kinda sad and embarrassing at this point. I mean, how many ****ing times is this guy gonna say he has no interest in playing next year only to sign with a team a couple days later. It seems like he owes some mobsters or something and this is the only way he can pay em off. ****ing pitiful.

**** him and the idiots who hire him. He's used up.

Im just curious AMC, where does that ranking come from? Sheer stats, I assume. I can think of AT LEAST ten QBs I'd want before paying that choke master.

His numbers are excellent minus int's, but AMC's right: he was one of the top five last year so it doesn't surprise me. But after all that, he ain't clutch. He loses more big games than he wins, especially when they're close or he's behind. But when there's bupkis on the line, you can expect 5 TD passes and a running TD. Problem is that comes in meaningless games. emoticon

Farte ain't coming here. Our dip**** coach has waged his career to Tavarison Jokeson. They brought in Rosenfels to "compete" for the starting spot, but I'll be hung for a horsethief if the competition isn't rigged. Childress got lucky in Philly with McNabb, so everyone deemed him some sort of QB guru. He trades up in the 2nd to pick T-Joke, who could have been signed as a free agent, and now Childress is trying to will his dream of making T-Joke a great QB. It will fail, and cost Adrian Peterson 5 years of his prime playing days.
Childress' giant ego won't allow Farte to come in and not participate in OTA's and training camp. Chilly needs to feel like he calls the shots. If Rosenfels is named the starter, and gives us any semblance of consistency, we got a shot at the NFC Central, but the Bears signing Cutler makes them a formidable team, on paper. Alas, I'll be there every Sunday, cheering on my Queens, and their pathetic, unimaginative, vanilla offense, featuring the best running back in the game. (sigh)

And for the record, I don't want Farte on the team. It will be another band-aid fix to our glaring weakness at the QB spot, which has been the issue under the entire duration of the Chilly regime. The guy is an absolute joke.

Slack, I soooo feel your pain. Watching our awesome D for 8 years with no offense was excrutiating. The D and Jamal Lewis were the only bright spots. And seeing Jamal decline after being able to run headlong thru a Mack truck was depressing. He's the best power runner I've ever seen. And he was wasted, similar to how Peterson is, because of a conceited, know-it-all coach who committed to a less than proven QB and staked his career and the promise the team had on that "hunch." Five years later, both the coach and QB are in our rearview and it looks like we have an offense. I see so many parallels to Childress and Billick... ughh. Sorry for ya, dude. But they still have a really good chance with that D. It's the best in that division.
