Ratbirds vs. Queens
Forgot to bring this up. What's the Balto contingency think about this week's matchup? Here in Minny, we're wary. This is our first true test of the season. favre has been lights out, and we've played a bunch of patsies, save the Pack, who's O-Line was decimated at the time. Ravens actually have an offense, their D, although aging is still good, and the Vikes are due for a letdown. Next 3 games are a meatgrinder. Balto, at Pitt, at GreenBush. I'll be content if we take 1 of 3, going into the bye at 6-2. What's the vibe over there? Might be making gametime posts here, seeing that I'm too intense watching games, so I need to be alone. Here's to Mullethead sacking Flacco 4 times, getting him benched, and here's to AP running over Murderin' Ray at the goal line. Prediction, Vikes 28, Ravens 27.

Re: Ratbirds vs. Queens
Slack, in my rather unintelligable opinion, it all depends on the Ravens showing up. These guys can dazzle the **** out of you and they can make you want to do an upper decker on your own TV.
If Ray hits you, you are going down. Depends on if he hits you, so AP might get his bell rung. Flacco is pretty unflappable, except it's to the extent that he makes me nervous, he's so calm. He has a good arm and good accuracy. The O line is better than its been in a while and the D line is great - mostly.
They are passing more than ever before. They lost the last two and I think they sort of got screwed by some bad officiating and they also ****ed themselves somewhat. The are embarrassed and totally pissed at themselves and they are a very very physical team. I think they are primed and ready for a fight. Plus, we have Birk so we are well aware of and know how to overcome the stadium noise.
I am ashamed to say I know nothing about the Vikes but I can promise you that we are going after the QB and it'll be an interesting game. How's BF do under pressure?

Re: Ratbirds vs. Queens
This is going to be a close one. Brent Favre has beaten us every time, but he has yet to show the Brent Favre that throws 4 int's in a game this year. If that's the Favre on the field, we win. If our D continues to underperform, you win. We couldn't stop a toddler from running the ball last week. So if we don't show up on D, long ****ing game for us... you win.
Don't know, man. I'll be glued to my tv. Our offense, as Scuff says, great to very mediocre in consecutive weeks. All hinges on Flacco's accuracy. He's been both under and over-throwing WR's all season leaving points on the field. If he improves and puts the ball on the money, you guys are in trouble. But more than anything, we need to keep our offense on the field gaining short first downs with our running game. If we can do that, we might win.
To an article here, they're all saying how much the Ravens want this one. Our bye is next week and we don't want to be 3-3 coming out of the bye with GB, Indy, and Pitt in our immediate future. This is an important game for us... you guys can afford to drop one... don't know which way to go on it.

Re: Ratbirds vs. Queens
Stillers have two byes in a row with the Brownies coming to town this week. I, of course, want to see a ****ing bloodbath with the Rats putting AP out for a couple of weeks, and Balt losing a close one. I'm guessing there will be a bit more desperation on the Rat side of the ball. Rats 27-17.

Re: Ratbirds vs. Queens
No doubt, book it: with Rodent's endorsement, my Ratbirds lose. Ughhh.
Vegas is giving us 2 points so this is gonna be a close one.

Re: Ratbirds vs. Queens
Quit your ****ing whining. Your beloved Rats had a chance to smack down the Patsies and what? So lets see you take out the Vikes for the glory of the AFC North. Of course if you don't, it's no skin off my ass.
