A woman drove me to drink...
and I didn't have the courtesy to thank her.
Seriously, I think my drinking has gotten out of control. Should I be concerned that I don't really care? I'm not too much of an asshole when I'm drunk, and I don't drink but a couple nights a week, and I'm a good-time Charlie. However, I never seem to remember the evening's events when I get hopped up, and I will drink until I can't do it anymore, and i'm usually pickled well into the next afternoon. **** it, dudes. Let's go bowling.

Pickled? . . .dill or sweet gherkin? I thought the same . . .quit and discovered that without beer, etc., life is crap. Just moderate it. If you think you are a drunk, quit or get help.
Moderation in all things.

Re: A woman drove me to drink...
That's my point. I know I'm a drunk. But the square community can go **** themselves. I enjoy being a drunkard.

I enjoy my drinking too. The American Psychiatric community labels an alcoholic as someone who imbibes habitually or regularly more than 2 alcoholic beverages per day or one who drinks to the point of MILD (HA!) incapacity. I think the term "functional alcoholic" is what would describe most of us. So what! That's the majority of the US. At least I ain't obese!
