I've been to meetings. Not during Nam, of course, but they were government mandated. There seemed to be a misunderstanding about my sobriety whilst operating a motor vehicle. Bee there, done that, then hit the bar after every meeting.

My grandfather and uncle were raging alcoholics. The uncle's drinking is legendary. I don't know if I'm technically an alcy, but I'm starting to wonder.
For some reason, for me, at least, there's a certain romantic element to being a world class drunk. It's something to aspire to, and who knows, one might have the "churchill gene."

A good call BS. Churchill is a personal hero. His drinking and wit are legendary.
I was at the Churchill museum in London on Tuesday. I think I'll open a thread about it.
