Sorry for your loss, and that was a good post. My dad went out slow, undignified and suffering. He deserved to die going off a cliff in a car full of dynamite while in a shootout with cops. My born again brother showed up at his hospital room near the end with some of his church "brothers" and strong armed my dad, who was agnostic his whole life, into accepting Jesus, or whatever. Really pissed me off. Would have liked to be in that room with a baseball bat (not really, I'm a pacifist if there ever was one).
