****ing Deer
Took the wife to a chick flick (Four Chrismases) last night and coming home, we take this short cut over a big hill. Well you have to make a left turn off the main road and this dude gets in the left lane goig like 30 mph in a 40 with his turn signal on for half a mile. I do the sensible thing and pass his ass on the ight and get in front of him. I make the left first, then get to te top of the hill where the road bends to the right. There's ****in Bambi standing right in the middle of the road like, well, like a deer in the headlights. No time to stop, so I clocked him, busted the headlight assembly on my driver's side. I knocked Bambi clean over the side of the road. Then that slow bastard comes creeping by me.
This is my concern dudes. Slow drivers ****ing us in the ass. If the dude drives the speed limit, then he hits Bambi instead of me.
Am I wrong?

More to the point and something a true Pennsylvanian would ask is, did you get the deer meat? But this is exactly what happens to me. I drive 4 hours one way to hunt deer and don't see a ****ing thing. I drive down my suburban street and have to dodge them.

Thanks OD for putting this into the proper perspective. As I now see it, I'll spend my $250 clams (deductable) not to get my wife's van fixed, but to help strength the white tailed deer population in southwestern Pennsylvania and to give myself a good reason to drink.

That sounds an awful lot like the Buffalo Theory applied to deer and some poor schmucks car.
