****ing City.
Nothing changes. Huge water main break down the street, water everywhere, ****ing surfable waves coming out of the ground right at the base of a telephone pole, fer Crissakes, and nobody coming to repair it. Call the City's "hot line" and they tell you, yeah, we're on it.
4 hours later and i got no water, and no workers. Large dogs are romping in it and being swept away. There's a guy hanging ten and has been for hours.
But let me be late in sending in my quarterly bill, and whammo. Guess the mayor's too busy answering her recent bribery indictment.

Finally got water late last night. Jerome and his ilk worked and got it fixed. For how long? Who knows, but for now I have water. Dogs are gone and the surfer is way bummed.
But today is a historic day as the nation's great black hope ascends the dais to take the Oath of Office.
Good luck. You're gonna need it for no man can undo that which has been done, especially in a contentious place such as this.I'm hopeful but not optimistic.

The euronese think he's the second coming of JC. I think they'll be equally as disillusioned as they are now in a very short time. Obama is a lot of things, but he's not a euronese communist (at least I hope not).
