What does it all mean, Mr. Natural?
What does it say about us as a people, as a species, when the most important thing on our minds is the funeral of Michael ****ing Jackson, or the resignation of Sarah ****ing Palin? People are hysterical because he's dead, or they are indignant beyond belief because she resigned. We pay such homage to those people who entertain us, who distract us from our mundane efforts at existence that we create demi-gods. We all loathe politicians and we all agree that they are self-servers who really do not represent us and yet we cry foul! when we feel we will no longer be able to invade their privacies.
Meanwhile, children disappear, women are beaten by husbands, men are relegated to second-class status by their own kind, there are so many real issues which should command our attention, and we all sit by and think ho-hum. Me, included. Is this right? Does it show balance?
And don't even get me started on the baby agaves, which continue to be burned alive in tremendous numbers by the drug cartels in Mexico, man.

Re: What does it all mean, Mr. Natural?
What on Earth are you blathering about?
Palin resigned?
Michael Jackson died?
Is this...what day is this.
For the record, you're right, but none of it affected me at all, personally.

I for one have definitely been relegated to the second class of the who give zero ****s for this or any other of the Entertainment Tonight bull****.
You want to seriously lose your ****ing mind? Spend a week over in the UK. And I missed my ****ing 4th of July picnic, too.

That gives me a good deal of comfort, AMC. At least you are aware of the hypocrisy of the human species. You're a good man for thinking in that direction.
What happens in the UK, Rodent, that makes one lose his mind? Are they nuts?

Well, with the money, bones, clams, whatever you call it, that the company has given you, you can pay for any number of picnics, but unfortunately the picnic you wanted was not yours to have.

Scuff man.. you are right on the money!

It's sick! and he's the first to admit that it is seriously ****ed up. He says is like a weird addiction.. like it's so ****ty, he can't turn it off... what the ****?!
