Re: ****ing DRYWALL!!!
And now my project is to build a double gate with a concave top on a sloping driveway. This'll be good.

Re: ****ing DRYWALL!!!
****ing A. I put a 6 foot high privacy fence around the place (it's a small place - about 1/4 acre) and I need a gate for the driveway to keep the wife and dog from running away, although I think the dog wouldn't go too far. I am currently using two 8 foot sections of vinyl picket fencing held in place by bungee cords, so yeah, I need to make it good. I'll post pics, just for ****s and giggles. By the way, I learned to use the vinyl fencing as a gate substitute in Tennessee, so don't laugh too hard.

Re: ****ing DRYWALL!!!
Ever notice that the ads at the top of the thread reflect the theme of the thread? The ones up there now are about drywall. Cute.

Re: ****ing DRYWALL!!!
Yeah, Scuff, I'd like a good laugh...post some pics.
And getting the idea here in Tennessee of a gate made of two 8' sections of vinyl fencing makes me think you might have planters in your yard that used to be commodes...right?
BTW...how's the Koi pond without any Koi coming along?

Well, I got the **** up, taped, and spackled, and now I get to sand the ****. ****ing pain in my ASS. I'll never do it again. Not with lots of cuts and inside corners and **** anyway. Tomorrow I sand, clean up, and prime. Sunday I paint and during the week next week I'll ****ing tile. Damn do I ever want to get this **** done so I have my downstairs throne back. Re: ****ing DRYWALL!!!
**** im a bit late to this but its like OD said. It dosent ****ing mater what the drywall cuts look like becaues you tape and spackel it. It dosent mater what the mudd looks like becaues you sand it. If you **** up the sanding a bit it dosent matter becaues your going to texture it. This is pretty tuff to **** up dude.

Re: ****ing DRYWALL!!!
Were you listening to the dude's story? You're like a child that wanders in....
It's not how hard or easy each step is, it's the sheer number of ****ing steps, the mess, the realization that you could've been doing ANTHING and it would've been more fun that what you did. And you always see the ****ing flaws. If you pay someone to do this, you miss out on all the **** and you have someone to BLAME for the flaws.
