Re: ****ing DRYWALL!!!
I'm sure his work will turn out fine but Rodent is right, it's the sheer number of mind-numbing steps that make it fun.
No commodes, Rose. We use old truck tires, cut in half and inverted.
The Koi-less pond is beautiful, man. No fish, no pond, no problemo, man. In my mind it's a thing of great and expansive beauty, and without all the water problems Rodent is having. The pond comes after the gate.

Re: ****ing DRYWALL!!!
Yes, Rodent is correct. It is a thankless ****ing job, this ****ing drywall. Although putting up subway tile after subway tile is just as ****ing mind numbing and maddening. Sure, I can do all this **** for myself, but I could be enjoying my ****ing pool instead of just making sure it's crystal clear for the boss and the kid.
So the subway tile is going up. Doing some accents in the room too. Hopefully by Saturday, barring the baby being born between now and then, I'll be done with the tiling and can call the plumber to finish up. Once he puts the toilet in, hooks up the sink, and does the hook-ups for the shower, we're golden.
With all the work, the ****ing plan is coming together.

Re: ****ing DRYWALL!!!
Hahaha, that's a good one, Rodent. Plus, it pays for itself in about 25 years. Maybe.
