Re: Crabs
we could always push it out to the summer when Tweed is off. Mardi Gras is way over the top for me. More for the spring break crowd. Any other time and the town is just ****ing great.

Re: Crabs
You know, Scuff and I could might forgo our annual beach, "We're DEFINITELY surfing this year," -trip for a dude's excursion to the Big Easy. Scuff's been down there "off-season" for work and liked it. I have to admit, after seeing Fantasy Fest in Key West--- the Gay Mardi Gras--- the party was too intense for me... not to mention the "other" stuff Scuff and I saw. I might be able to do any early June. Scuff and I have taken off the first Friday of June for the past 4 years and gone away without incident from work. I'm potentially game.
Are the wives in? This would fit into my desire to treat my bride to a 30th birthday excursion like she treated me on my 40th to Chi-town....

Re: Crabs
If wives are going, it ain't a road trip. If my wife is going, it won't be in the truck to Nawlins. It'll be on a plane with reservations in a good hotel and dining at the good spots, which is good with me. But it won't be a road trip. To me, a road trip is us driving and basically being ****ing bachelors. I totally get you want to take her someplace for her 30th, and you should. But you can't make it a road trip, for Chrissakes. Fly her down and treat her nice, don't stuff her in a truck.
Just my humble opinion.

Re: Crabs
Im in for summer. Rodent and I were saying that taking the wifes to Mardi Gras would be kindof counter productive. Like bringing sand to the beach as they say.
