Gran Torino

Went to see Gran Torino today with Josefina. I'm not sure what to tell you because I won't spoil it. I'll tell you this: I liked it better than No Country. I liked it because it reminded me of . . .nope, can't tell you. If this doesn't win an Academy Award, I'll be one pissed off man. Possibly Clint Eastwood's best work ever. Really makes you think. When it ended, nobody spoke. Everyone just got up and wandered out of the theater.

See it. Out****ingstanding on every front.

Well, get moving. I wanna talk about it. I can't tell you any more stuff about it because it would ruin it.

Re: Gran Torino

Finally saw "Gran Torino". Eastwood was his old self in this movie, except for the end, which was fitting knowing his situation. Enjoyed it tremendously and gave it two thumbs up with a "snap"!!!

Loved this movie but not a big fan of the ending. I know it was artistic and threw everyone for a loop but I would have been a bit more entertained if he had gone out with a bang and shot the **** out of all the gangsters. He could have still died but I was all geard up for a shootout.

I was pretty stunned, too. I didn't think that would happen but it's appropriate for what he was - an aging guy, long over the hill, nobody cared about him anymore, he was a dinosaur, an anachronism. ****, he still went out with a bang.

I loved it too. Great ****ing movie, but yall had to know it wasn't going to end in in him killing those ****s. It would've been way too simple, and it was clear to me that it would end another way.

No, I didn't kow that. That was 180 degrees from Clint's usual responses. I mean I see in in hindsight but not at the time.
