Question
... Donnelly bugging again with questions about English words:
Only a few weeks ago, I discovered a cover by John Fogerty of a traditional cajun song (Jambalaya). The cover I used to listen at home as a kid was by Brenda Lee. I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics back then. Anyways, the word I can't find a definition for is in this verse:
Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be GAYO.
What does 'gayo' mean? Not even in the great, great [url]http://www.urbandictionary.com/[/url] could I get an answer.

Used to be that "Gay" meant "happy" or "Fun", before it meant "Fag".
To make the line rhyme, it had to end in -o.
