My wife's favorite show.
Vet, if you get Netflix, get the BBC version of the Office. It's pretty good, too.

I'm super pumped for The Pacific. Scuff, seeing that you're a well read man, do you have those two books that the series is baSED on? Guadalcanal Diaery and WitMy helmet for a Pillow? If so, I would like to borrow them.
I might subscribe to HBO when this thing is released.

I had both at one time but the ex sold 'em at a flea market years ago. Guadalcanal Diary is a great book. Helmet's okay but not as factual if I remember correctly. If you wanna read up on the Pacific war, find one that covers the island campaigns, starting with Tulagi, then Guadalcanal, Cape Gloucester, Peleliu and on up the chains.
William Manchester's Goodbye, Darkness is an excellent read.
