Yep it should be good.

I found this little artical with a quote for an SEC coach wich you might find interesting.

LSU coach Les Miles put the coachspeak to bed last week on a Baton Rouge radio show by calling out the Pac-10 conference, and specifically the Southern California football team.

"I can tell you this, that they (USC) have a much easier road to travel," Miles said on air. "They're going to play real knockdown drag-outs with UCLA and Washington, Cal-Berkeley, Stanford — some real juggernauts — and they're going to end up, it would be my guess, in some position so if they win a game or two, that they'll end up in the title [game]."

At Pac-10 Media Day, some of the league's coaches disputed Miles' comments.

"Our toughest games by far last season were in our conference," USC coach Pete Carroll explained. "This is an extraordinary conference. There's great coaching and excellent offenses and excellent football players. We're challenged every week. Our score spreads make it obvious."

The results from last season do lend credence to Carroll's argument. His Trojans outscored non-conference opponents Arkansas, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Nebraska by an average score of 38.5 to 16.5. USC went 7-2 against the Pac-10 with a scoring margin of 29-12.

Furthermore, the USC and LSU shared common opponents in Arkansas and Notre Dame. USC outscored the foes 94-38 in their two victories, while LSU won by a combined score 72-40.

I heard about this conversation...and I agree with Miles 100%, there is no doubt in my mind that LSU has a consistantly tougher schedule than USC. The teams in the SEC are faster, stronger and the games are generally more physical. At the end of the season SEC teams are always beat the **** up.

That said, USC is no doubt a world class team that is consistantly better than everyone else. That cant be taken away from them.

There's always been an "exceptional" team in the PAC 10 for as long as I can remember. Now it's USC, who I like btw, but it used to be Washington a long time ago. The PAC 10 has usually one team that's head and shoulders above the rest of the division.

The SEC is different. It was so competitive the conference thought it necessary to divide it into 2 separate divisions... To me, that speaks volumes to the how tight that conference is. The SEC usually has 3-5 legitimate challengers for the National Championship. Florida, Arkansas or Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee...

PAC 10 and SEC are also different brands of football. P10 is offensive in nature and SEC is usually strong defense. I love both styles but like watching SEC a little better. All that said, teams like the Ducks and Huskies are on par with teams like the Terps, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech. Same types of Bowl appearances, same type of records...

Ok well it sounds like we all agree that SC is a powerhouse freek right now with not a whole lot of compotition anywhere in the country. Well then if the Pac-10 is so week how come the only real trouble USC has had is with Pac-10 teams?

I think USC plays to the level of the team they're playing. They dont play as well when they play ****ier teams and they play awesome in big games. I think thats one of the main reasons they win so many championships.

Yeah, but it was sweet to watch UCLA beat their ass. Put my gators right where they wanted to be.

And **** you all. The gators would've beat the 1976 steelers the way they played against OSU in the Fiesta.
