Re: I'm done with politics.man
I'm totally undecided. I've gone back and forth. I just don't know. I don't like Obama's inexperience. That scares the **** outta me given how dangerous GW has made the world. There are a lot of angry ****ers out to get us because of him.
Joe Biden was a safe pick by Obama but that guy's never done anything except get behind already won battles or losing ones to explain in his condescending way why they are so. He's the type that John McCain claims to want to expel. Whatever.
The Palin choice has scared me off, tho. I ****ing hate the Christian ****ing Right. Those are some biggoted, small minded, lost in the ****ing past, nazis. They are out to eliminate all who are not "believers" and "guide" politics to their world view. That's ****ing scary to me. As bad or worse than those scary camel ****ing ultra islamic ****s. When I heard pro-life Palin states... I said, time to vote for Obama.
Sad thing is that I think if the stars had ever aligned for McCain, he'd have been a kick ass Pres. If Kerry had talked McCain into crossing party lines to run with him in 04 we'd be talking about Kerry/McCain this year again and the McCain/? in 12 and beyond. I do think he's a moderate but he just folded to the party with the Palin pick and if that's not totally antithetical to his whole, "Old, bad, decaying Washington..." cries, I don't know what is. He betrayed himself and what he said he stood for in that pick.
But he's got a bonable wife and I see another Lincoln bedroom scandal if he wins this thing.

Could Rudy Gullianni and Mitt Romney win it right now? **** the primaries, if the other ****s come out now, they could steal the whole thing.

you are the walrus scuff...which come to think of it is probably why you're so passionate in the defense of your friend there, you know ah, hours together spent cavorting naked in the snow and hunting enemy wolves from an airplane.

NIF, did you hear that whole hunting wolves from and airplaine-thing on Howard? I was lmao. That was some good ****.
I didn't mean to rant there. It's just that everytime I think I've decided there's a new twist. I guess that's why they pull this ****. Although this time, I think that the hail mary might have lost it for McCain...

Re: I'm done with politics.man
I'm done with ****ing politics too, and thats no ****. The options this election has given us is a ****ing flat out embarrassment. Period. It surely seems that the population is getting dumber, and is closing it's eyes to the ****ing we've been getting. I'm truly scared for our country.

Re: I'm done with politics.man
it's true man, idiocracy here we come...the woman wants to shoot a polar bear also, can we get any lower than that. butt****ers is only a matter of time.
experience, I think is highly overvalued in selecting a president. lincoln was an illinois state legislator{same as obama} for almost all of his political life before the presidency, spent I remember one term in the congress and quit, his professional career was as a lawyer. fdr, from a position of much greater wealth was also a lawyer and had like three years as governor before he became the greatest man of the 20th century...our founding fathers nearly all went from careers as lawyers and farmers to leading a revolution, very few of the most influential ones held official public office before being sent to the first congress and since george washington was the only one in the ****ing room with military experience they made him general.
the executive experience level of obama compared to gw bush doesn't concern me, because gw actually had quite a bit more, but one man is that much more intelligent and interested in life than the other, comparable I believe to the standard shared by our greatest leaders. sarah palin's experience doesn't even really bother me, it's her ****ing certainty in a set of extremely radical and dangerous point of views, dangerous I feel to my own freedom as well as many other of my fellow american citizens, plus any of the progresses the country has made over the past 50 years. mccains years of experience by the way, do nothing for me, he went from the navy to the tiger cage to washington, the only thing he's ever been responsible for in his life he flew into a surface to air missile. It's admirable what he went through, but I got a cousin with shrapnel in his neck and post traumatic stress disorder, why don't we make him president. don't tell me that this guy has any great understanding of foreign policy because he was a soldier, don't tell me he understands economics because he married a rich woman and don't tell me he can fix washington because he was secretly undercover for all those years, taking the lobbyist donations and nearly getting censured in the 80's for peddling influence as all part of some grand scheme to someday change things.

Re: I'm done with politics.man
FYI, hunting polar bears is an extreme activity. Polar bears are the only known carnivore that will actually hunt man as prey. I don't think I'd dismiss that lightly as a hunter. You don't hunt them like you'd hunt a democrat or a republican (I'm an independent). You have to hunt them on foot. The assholes who hunt them from planes aren't hunters, they're wannabes.
I'd subscribe to the Ted Nugent school of hunting if I was serious about hunting.
