Quoting The Big Lebowski in situations you shouldn't
I'm always trying to quote The Dude...for obvious reasons. What are some good ways you use quotes from The Big Lebowski in everyday conversation? Sometimes it might be socially unacceptable to quote The Big Lebowski...let's say...at a funeral.
Click link below to view to view a blog post I found about using quotes at work...any others you use?
The Big Lebowski
We should start a big list on the boards!

Welcome to the board, DC.
I use, "Phone's ringin', dude..." pretty liberally. And when someone's looking for something they can't seem to find, "I'm sure it's in there. Take another look."

Re: Quoting The Big Lebowski in situations you shouldn't
Most of us probably use quotes liberally throughout the day. Depends on what the situation is. There is a large Christian contingent where I work and I get to use "It don't matter to Jesus," quite a lot. They don't have a clue. I also use, "The Dude Abides," and "I am the walrus," often and I have also used "This aggression will not stand, man," and also I use, "Nice marmot," when I see something new. A group of women came into my office just last week and I used, "hey, this is a private residence, ma'ams." I disagree that it's inappropriate at a funeral. You could say, " . . .(insert name of deceased) was a good man. And thorough."
It all fits.

I have a buddy named MARTY. I like to piss him off and say Hi MONTY. He hates that. Because you see his name is actually Marty.
Cracks me up.
