Ryah hugged her mom goodbye. Smiled at her step father and left for the train. She tried to ditch James on the way, but knew he would end up in her compartment if Shanny had any say in it. 3 years of being siblings, and she disliked him more than the moment her parents told them they were getting married.

"Take care of your brother!" Shanny's mum yelled as they boarded the train.
"I don't need looking after!" Simon, her younger brother shouted back. Shanny rolled her eyes and shoved him forward, turning to wave again at her mum.

James trudged through the long line of students. His stepsister was ahead of him, trying to duck low in the flow of kids.
"James!" Shanny cried, plowing in to him. They hugged, and she gave him a small kiss. "How was your summer, dear?" she cried, as a group of second years made gagging noises behind them.
"I got a new sister." James blurted out...

"WHAT? Is it someone i know? Who?" Shanny demanded. James had not mentioned anything over the summer, and now all of a sudden he had a sister?
"Look, let's get a compartment and i'll tell you." He said.
"Okay, i need to find Ryah though." Shanny replied and pulled him along by the hand, not noticing his tensing at the mention of Amaryah, her best friend's, name.

Jasmyn walked onto the platform and gave a sigh of relief.
"Thank god we weren't late. i don't know what we would have done then." she said before turning around and looking at her Aunt.
"I'm going to miss you, Jasmyn." her aunt said quietly. "I always hate it when you go back to school. Now i'm losing Elise. What am i going to do with both of you girls gone?"
"You could join a book club!" Elise replied, lightly bouncing on the balls of her feet. Jasmyn rolled her eyes A Ravenclaw if i ever saw one she thought to herself, before giving her Aunt a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek and dragging her young cousin onto the train behind her.
"Go find a compartment with some first years, so you can make friends before you even get sorted. Trust me, it helps. A boy in my year spent the whole train ride alone crying. Thinking he wouldn't make one friend."
Jasmyn looked in a compartment and found some of her friends younger siblings in there.
"Here, sit in there, and have some fun. I'll see you at the sorting," Jasmyn said before bending down and giving the young girl a hug, and walking off to find her own compartment,

Raelin left her parents standing on the platform as she walked up to the wall. She smiled at them and thought to herself. They're so proud of me. She hadn't had any problems at school being a Muggle-born, but there was still this year. Her last year at Hogwarts before being thrown into the "real world". She flipped her dark brown hair over her shoulder and walked through. The train was getting ready to leave and Raelin noticed everyone rushing to get on it. She saw tons of familiar faces, but not the faces of her best friends. They had left Hogwarts last year, seeing as they were a year older than her. She didn't know how she was going to make it this year, but, as she stepped onto the train, she looked down at her cat, Aibhlinn, sitting in her cage and said, "Don't worry Aibhlinn, we'll make it together."
**Okay guys...that was my first attempt EVER to RP, so PLEASE let me know if it was okay and what you think....thanks...i REALLY appreciate it...**
