"JAMES! Let me down you stupid git!" Ryah said pointing her wand at him. She knew that should could take him in duel but didn't want it to come to that. Shanny walked over and did the counter charm and Ryah fell to a heap on the floor. All of a sudden she burst into tears.
"I lost my earring! My grandma gave it to me just before she died. SEE WHAT YOU DID!! If I don't find that, I swear to you James...you're dead." She said her eyes narrowing in on him.

Try as she might she could not get these two to stop fighting. So she did the next best thing, and took out her book and started reading.

Ryah looked at him with tears flowing down her cheeks.
"It doesn't take a dumbass to figure out that I HATE YOU! Don't you EVER come near me again. Don't you ever even SPEAK TO ME!" She said slamming the compartment door closest to her so hard the glass shattered.

James looked at the shattered compartment door, and could hear Ry sobbing from inside. The train lurched forward and then the doors opened. "Welcome to Hogwarts." a voice boomed through the train...

Shanny looked up as Ryah burst in, crying.
"What happened?"
"I hate him! I hate him I hate him I hate him!" Ryah shouted.
The train stopped and they heard the announcement welcoming them to Hogwarts.
"Come on, let's get a carriage. then you can tell me all about how evil he is." Shanny said as she helped Ryah grab their luggage.

Ryah did a quick vanishing charm on James' items before she walked out. Shouldering him as hard she could as she passed. "Let's take that carriage." She said pointing at one that was empty.

Shanny smiled apologetically to James as they went past and mouthed 'She vanished your things'. James nodded and went to fix it whilst Shanny followed Ryah to the carriage.
As she did, she saw the number of hopeful boys watching Ryah. She rolled her eyes as she saw Simon making his way towards them, and grabbed a couple of 2nd year girls to take the space.
"Sorry, but this is not a time for your fan club." she said to Ryah, who just shook her head.

James undid the spell on his things and walked out behind Shanny and Ry. They were both chatting, and Ry was being closely followed by all of the guys.
"Then he jinxed me!" she sobbed. A few of the boys looked back at James, and shot him dirty glances.
"Let's get to the castle." A sixth year boy said.

Ryah looked at the disappointment on the boy's faces. "I don't understand why they do that. I seriously don't ever turn on the veela charm. I think it's because they all KNOW I'm part veela and use that as their excuse." Ryah said quietly. She knew she needed to talk about why she blew up, but really didn't want to. Those earrings were very personal to her, as was the story behind them.
