The Welcome Back Feast
Shanny and Ryah were sat at the Ravenclaw table, glaring at random guys who were brave enough to try and approach Ryah, when the door opened. James was covered in mud and soaking wet.
"What the hell happened to you?" Shanny said, as Ryah just laughed.
"There were no carriages." James replied. "I'm fine."
Shanny fussed over him some more, casting a drying charm and a warming charm on him as he sat at the Gryffindor table.
"I think you should see Madam Pomfrey." She said, James just shook his head and told her to sit back down.
"The first years are coming in in a second." She agreed and headed back over to Ryah, who was still laughing.

Ryah snorted quietly. "He looks...and smells...like a lost wet dog!" She said trying hard to stop laughing. James kept glaring at her...which only made her laugh harder.

"I think I'm going up to the common room to lay down for a bit." James said, standing beside Shanny. She nodded, and thumped Ry on the head. She snorted, and continued her squeaking laughter.
"Good night." Shanny said, as James disppeared around the corner.

"Ryah, he does not!" Ryah was still doubled over laughing, so Shanny did one thing that usually guaranteed she got Ryah's attention.

"You know that will never happen!" Ryah said laughing.
"Me, Listen? To anyone?" Ryah said laughing. She looked over and noticed someone at one of the other house tables watching her. She smiled and turned back to Shanny.
(Ryah's interest...no idea who it's going to be yet though)

James came back, and settled down at the Gryffindor table. He had changed in to his robes, and was dried off. Shanny was waving at him, and Ry was making strange gagging noises.
"SHUT UP!" James shouted, making students around him jump. The smirk disappeared from her face, and she turned around.

Ryah did a non-verbal hex on James. Causing him to have a coughing fit. She knew that non-verbal spells were the one and only thing he had difficulty with. So she knew he wouldn't be able to get her back until later.

James silently got up, and excused himself from the hall. He ran out to the main entrance and reached for his wand. He was totally breatheless. Finally, he was able to control the spell, and subdue it.
He barged in the Great Hall, pointing his wand at her. "Tartangella!" he said, as Ry started doing a funny dance.
