The Headmistress walked over. "James WHAT is this about? I would excpect better from the head boy! Purposefully hexing the Head Girl without provocation. Detention young man! And one more out burst like this, and you'll lose your badge!" She said walking away. Ryah stared at her...head girl...her...head boy....him. That was not going to work. She hadn't thought about that before.

"Yeah, well what about her trying to kill me?! I couldn't breathe for Merlin's sake!" James shouted. The Headmistress turned to Ry. "Is this true?"
"YES!" barked James. Ry looked at Shanny, who was inching away from her, trying to avoid the whole situation. "Yes." Ry whispered.
"Then you'll both be serving detention together!"

"TOGETHER?!" They both yelled in unison.
"No way professor! Someone has to do to head boy or head girl duties. We can't both be gone at the same time." Ryah said hopefully. The less she had to be near him the better.
"Besides! He started this on the train! He hexed me for NO reason. All I was doing was talking to Shanny! I wasn't even LOOKING at him!! And then he performed the levicorpus charm on me!" Ryah said quickly, knowing James was about to be in a lot of trouble, as that was a banned spell.
The headmistress turned to him. "You, follow me." She said pointing to the door.

Demi sat down in the middle of the Gryffindor table, where all the excitement and chatter was going on. She liked to be in the center of things. Deciding she wanted to get in on everything, she smiled over in Shanny and Ryah's direction.
"Hey girls, have fun on the train?" She asked. Everyone had witnessed Ryah and James' little dispute on the way to Hogwarts.

"Our parents have been together for more than 3 years. In that 3 years I have hardly talked to him. Even though most of the 3 years we've all lived in the same house. He just thinks he is a hot shot. I guess he wouldn't be so bad if he didn't think he was so smart all the time." Ryah said ignoring the glares from Shanny.
