Just as she was about to explain more the headmistress stopped at the door...and motioned for Ryah to follow her and James. "Uh oh, that bastard must have ratted me out." She said walking slowly towards them.

Ryah walked up to the headmistress and James, glaring at him the whole time.
"Yes Professor?" Ryah asked sweetly.
"I have decided on your punishments. Yes, both of you. Neither of you are innocent in this." She said eyeing both of them.
"For the next two weeks, during all free periods, and lunches. You two are to spend time together and get to know one another. You are to learn one new fact about the other each day. You need to start behaving like a family. Some day you may be the only family the other has. Life does not have a guaranteed amount of time. Surely you guys both know and understand that." With that she walked away. Leaving Ryah and James staring after her.

Jade rushed into the great hall, Oliver Stanwood right behind her sitting down to the Ravenclaw table. He smiled and winked at her, with his ruffled hair and inside out shirt. Jade smiled at him back, not bothering to notice her unbuttoned blouse and tousled hair. They both had missed the chance to speak to their friends on the train and the whole and their very last welcoming feast because they were.......preoccupied. There was only desert left on the table now and Jade figured all her friends went up to the dorms by now, so she scarfed down some cheesecake and lemon squares. She looked at the hall admirably realizing that this would the last first day at hogwarts she'll ever have and yet she missed part of it.

Shanny sighed as she waited for Ryah and James to get back from their punishment. She really hoped they'd get on soon.
She spotted Jade sitting down, looking like she'd been busy, and laughed to herself. She waved to attract her attention, and motioned to her clothes.

"Well in a nutshell, my mom got a new nose, I've grown a quarter of an inch, and decided to swear off boys for good until I saw Timothy Carrabba in nothing, but swimtrunks, next thing I knew I was having a 'from here to eternity moment', except with less clothes and more XXX," said Jade giggling.
