Raelin watched the girls leave the common room all dressed up. Part of her was envious of them, and another part of her was grateful that they had some how missed her sitting in the red chair holding her cat, Aibhlinn. She was starting to regret this year. No one had said a word to her since she got to Hogwarts. Sure, all her old classmates waved to her and gave her kind smiles, but, no one had asked her about her summer. No one gossiped with her about the professors or classes. No one asked her if she would be going out that night. As tears slowly filled up her eyes, Raelin decided to head up to bed and call it a night. She stood and let Aibhlinn slid to the floor. As she walked up the steps, she looked back, expecting Aibhlinn to follow her. But the cat didn't. She simply jumped back into the chair that 5 seconds ago, Raelin had occupied. Great she thought to herself, Now even YOU are abandoning me.
