Autumn Vacation! I am on my first real vacation in years this Week! The 3 years I have been with this job I had to use my vacation time when my back went out the first year, and last year my evil (now ex) boss had me take it a day here and there when it suited her. (World without Love' is on radio as I type this!)
Today is Kathy's 50th Burpday. We made a scarecrow Saturday night and fought the rain and skeeters to put it up. I am going to make her a lemon supreme burpday cake and try to find her a begginers metal detector. Being the decent gal she is she insist I buy nothing for her. I may grill some cow flesh for her. Wish the cool weather would come as tommorow is the first day of Autumn.
Sorry I have not took the time to post my usual Autumn rantings on here this year, though I have felt the inspiration. Kathy's youngest daughter goes in to have her baby girl on Friday. It will beee kathy's 7th grandchild I believe. I have none though if we marry I will inherit hers.
I may go tommorow night with my nephew Todd (a Moondog). It is 45 minutes away up in Chipley and it is Kathy's grandson playing.
Kathy and I do plan to marry. Sorry I have not kept you all up to date but as her and I are off the same times it is hard to find time to get on here but I will do better. Her Aunt is a notary so we hope to do a quiet simple ceremony!
I hope to get some junk chunked this week and get the yard raked and such. Still trying to come up with a plan for this rotten house. I was told there is a grant you can get to bring old house up to par. This house was built in 1926, least the original part was.
