I saw it also as a kid, but I didn't remember Linda being there and I thought Paul had a beard.....and I sure didn't remember The Duke as the presenter. Linder looked a little afraid of The Duke.

that's how I remember it. Didn't they win the academy award too and Paul accepted it also in the same manner ?

i thought so, but when I searched "Beatles Oscar Let it Be" it shows Quincy Jones who was conducting the show's orchestra come out of the pit and accept the Oscar for the Beatles for LIB.

I'll have to research this one....or if Harry were still around....
