The traditions when cold snowy conditions aproach are to go to the local market and, whether needed or not, buy 3 or 4 gallons of milk, 3 dozen eggs, and 5 loaves of bread.
Perhaps it is for making lots and lots and lots of french toast????
Visiting the video store and wiping out their supply is another tradition just before bad weather....

They wouldn't sell if they were not sweet.
A bowl (or coffee mug) of non-sugar type cereal like special letter or raisin ummmm brands or cheery i's with sliced fruit instead of sugar added is more filling and satisfying and perhaps a better meal or snack. A children's chewable or one for adults is always a good daily plan, too....

Remembering how everyone wanted to eat bagles because they had so much less sugar and such as donuts, so in order to sell more, the bagel place started adding flavorings liek cinnaon sugar swirl and fudge swirl and apple bits and more.... might as well eat the donuts....
